Kathy Golden, Senior Producer, Voices of Our World
Kathy began her career in radio at the international ad agency, BBDO producing fourteen Clio award winning commercial campaigns for Campbell's Soup,
Delta Airlines, Diet Pepsi, 3M, Dodge, Citibank, Beechnut and Gillette. She has also worked for ABC TV's News division, Record Plant Recording
Studios and produced the musical segments for WPIX annual One To One telethons. Since becoming the Senior Producer of "Voices" the program's
subscribers have grown steadily and the show has won five Gracie Awards.
Michael R. Jones, Producer, Voices of Our World
Born in New York City, Michael has produced several commercial talk radio programs. Michael then lived in Barcelona, Spain for three years as a
musician/producer, where he composed several works for TV/radio advertisements and commercial release. Since coming to Voices of Our World in 2005,
Michael has produced many of our programs on poverty, human rights, and social justice. In 2007 he won the Gracie Award for Outstanding National
Public Affairs Radio Program, the fifth overall for Voices of Our World.
Eileen Bott, Host, Voices of Our World
Eileen has been the host for Voices of Our World for almost ten years. She has been in radio for over fifteen years, covering every position
from news reporter, to the community bulletin board, to marketing and producing. Also, Eileen volunteers her time at her daughter's school,
and she is a treasurer/board member with the organization Breastfeeding Advocacy Network. She loves to read, play volleyball and spend time with her family.
Francisco Suarez Aular, Producer, Voces de Nuestro Mundo
Francisco is originally from Caracas, Venezuela. Since he was a child he was always fascinated by media and its powerful influence in his community.
So at just sixteen years old, he started to work freelance in an advertising agency and later pursued his career in TV production. In the past twelve years,
Francisco has worked in companies such as HBO Latin America, Sony Entertainment Television and MTV Latin America. In 2002, he moved to the U.S. to
learn English and continue his education. In 2006, he earned his master degree in Media Management at Newhouse School of Public Communication in Syracuse
University, one of the top communication schools in the country.
Karen Cooper, Radio Marketer, Voices of Our World / Voces de Nuestro Mundo
Karen is from Panama where she graduated from Universidad de Panama with a BA in Business and Marketing. She has worked in her field for DirecTV,
Marsh & McLennan and BELL Foundation. Karen volunteered as radio marketer for a Bible teaching program in her country, and she is glad to be
back in that position working for Voices of Our World / Voces de Nuestro Mundo and Maryknoll's social justice cause.
